What is Apps 4 lifes?
A one-person app studio in Norway. Sixteen small, paid apps for everyday life, one in each store category, plus custom apps built for small trade and property businesses.
Everything reaches me directly — there is no switchboard and nobody else to be passed to. Call or WhatsApp if it is quick. If you want an app built, the brief below tells me what I need to know before we speak.
Tell me about the app
Six questions. It takes about two minutes, and it means our first call starts with the actual problem rather than with me asking what you do.
Or ask about an app I have already made
The Chataptor answers questions about the sixteen apps — price, features, privacy, devices, release dates. It takes one app at a time so the answers stay accurate, and it will tell you when it does not know something rather than guess.
Small, sharp tools for ordinary days — each one designed on its own terms, paid for once, and left alone to do its job.
Most apps are free because you are the product. These cost $9.99 because you are the customer.
No advertising. No tracking for resale. No subscription that quietly renews for years after you stopped opening the thing. You pay once, the app works, and that is the whole arrangement.
The exceptions, stated plainly: Tilbudsappen is a tool a trade business earns money with, and it is sold as a subscription. BabyBloom and Riverfishing are free, with optional Plus and Pro upgrades. Everything else on this page is $9.99, once.
It is a smaller business than the alternative. That is the point — sixteen apps is what one person can build properly, and building them properly is the only advantage a one-person studio has.
One app in each store category. Point at any of them and the page takes on its colours.
A meal planner and a wedding-speech writer have nothing in common except me. Giving them a shared typeface and palette would have been faster, and it would have made all sixteen look mass-produced — which is exactly what a store full of free apps already looks like.
So each one gets its own colour, its own type, its own temperament. The only thing they share is a single line at the bottom of the first screen.
The same work, for your business. One project at a time, two weeks a month.
If you run a small trade or property business, you already know which part of the job wastes your evenings. Quoting from the van. Photographing work nobody logs. Invoicing from a kitchen table at nine at night.
I build the app that removes it — designed, tested, and published to both stores under your own name.
One client a month, so the one is always you. Scope and price are agreed before anything starts — if an idea does not need an app, I will say so on the call rather than sell you one.
Contact · Connecting people
Apps 4 lifes is Per-vidar Johansen, working from Laksvatn in Norway. No agency, no account manager, no handover to a junior after you sign — the person who answers your first message is the person who designed the app and wrote the code.
Every message sent through the support form, and every phone call, is answered by me personally.
Sixteen apps are the portfolio and the proof at the same time. You can download one and judge the work before we ever speak.

It is our motto: apps4lifes.com — connecting people. The apps are made for the moments people share: a wedding speech, a new baby, a trip, a household’s week of dinners, a small firm and its customers. A good tool makes those moments easier and never gets in between the people in them.
I do: Per-vidar Johansen, founder, designer and developer. Every message through the form above and every phone call reaches the person who built the app, so you never have to explain yourself twice.
Within two working days, and usually sooner, on weekdays, Norwegian time. The Chataptor answers straight away, at any hour.
